Council Information
The Monsignor Edward S. Wright Council is a Catholic Men's
fraternal service organization of the Knights of Columbus, serving
Blessed Sacrament Parish in North Aurora.
The Grand Knight for 2011-2012 is John Whitney.

Council Meetings
The council meets every third Tuessday at Blessed Sacrament, In Holy Family Hall
located at 801 W. Oak Street in North Aurora.
The meeting begins promptly at 7:00 p.m. with a light dinner followed by a decade of the Rosary.
Our next council meeting will be Tuesday,February 21st at 7:00 pm.
Upcoming Events
Free Throw Contest - 1/22
The annual Council Free Throw Competition will be held:
Sunday, January 22nd, 2011
The competion will be held at the Holy Cross School Gymnasium in
Batavia, Illinois. The event will start with registration
beginning at 1:00 pm, with the competition starting at
1:30 pm.
The event is open to all boys and girls who are between the ages of
10 and 14 years.
Age is determined as of January 1. A copy of the child's birth
certificate needs to be presented upon registration.
Please put the word out to family and friends
who have children in this age group to show up and compete.

About Our Council
The Monsignor Edward S. Wright Council was founded on July 31, 2010
through the efforts of the Bill Laudondo the District Deputy and the 31 charter members.
It is named after
Monsignor Edward S. Wright who was the first pastor and founder of
Blessed Sacrament Parish.
